Been Wondering... Why are there Random Numbers & Letters on an Episode's Name???
Like Eg. "[DB]_Bleach_153_[2AEBA648]" the "[2AEBA648]" so what is the significance and importance of those numbers and letters? Where do they even get these numbers and letters from anyway??? |

 i see my expertise is needed.
alright, so heres the story behind it. a long time ago, there was nothing but the kingdom of letters and numbers and humans. there were no grammatical symbols like dashes, periods, or commas. But thats another story. Anyway, the humans evolved so much that we concurred/"devoured" the other kingdoms. We started enslaving them to send across communication through words, and help us with technology with both letters and numbers. Now the numbers and letters have finally got tired of being oppressed, and are starting to fight back. The first sign is Anime direct Downloads. Only crazy otaku's download those, so no one would suspect them. Otaku's simply ignore them, and upload the episode without the [22h26dt] ending. In short, WE'RE ALL GANNA DIE! Letters and numbers will take over the world, unless you buy the savior, me (Alexander Park, resident of North Carolina) a Wii so that I may combat them. >_>" /end of useless post. |

Well... i guess it IS some sort of hashcode? cause if you googled that number, sites to download that specific torrent shows up..... so i guess it probably works as an index sort of thing...... =/
However... i'm also curious where do people get these numbers and how do they know what numbers to put? like there's always chances (though rare) that 2 different episodes might have the same number?!?!! & btw, alex... what makes you soooo sure you may defeat all those letters and numbers?!?!! :XD: |

Oh? Well... maybe people leave it there so it can be easy to index and search for in the internet to redownload just in case the torrent was bad or one of the episode was bad...
Is that the real reason? =/ Well, if anyone knows the real reason, please tell me/ (us) :eyes: :XD: |

i dunno if its true or not... but i think that is a code for CRC checking if the file downloaded retains its quality over the source file...

hmmmm if im not mistaken... that "numbers" are part of the adress in the website from where you got it......
the thing that i dont understand either is why is that there in the title its not supposed to be there.. but im pretty much sure that its part of the adress :XD: |
