Well, after watching the previous few episodes, the mystery of the modified Gurren has been revealed.

But yeah, so many questions after watching last week's episode!
1) Would CC regain her memories?
2) Did Nunally really die?
3) How would Lelouch defeat Charles now that he is immortal?


Somehow I feel that R2 is not as good as season 1 of Code Geass. I dunno, maybe it's just me but I wanna see more of Lelouch's superb strategies in the battles and stuff.

A bit off the topic here but among the few mecha anime that I like, this is how I'll rank them in order of best to worse:
1) Macross Frontier
2) Code Geass (season 1)
3) Gundam 00
4) Code Geass R2

Out of topic again but I just wanna do a shout-out.
Macross F is so cool!!! I seriously just can't wait for the next episode next week after watching the one that came out today.. >_<

I agree with what you said about this season not being as good. Last season I got hooked. This season they take everything I loved about last season and destroy it. It seems the only reason I continue to watch is there is that little voice in the back of my mind that says it can't get worse. :nooo: They will never have the council room scenes again! :nooo:

AS for your questions.
1. Maybe not. I believe the Geass has to do with the persons wish. Lulu wanted power and can control people. CC wanted to be loved and people fawned over her. Mao, an outcast orphan wanted to connect with people and was then able to read minds. I think with her memory lost she may end up getting her true wish answered by Lulu, I say this because she looked at the band-aid on her finger like a ring.
2. :T_T: :T_T: :T_T: :T_T: I don't like to think about this. My only hope is that Nunally was with Sayoko so maybe her super maid-ninja skills saved Nunally...
3. If I may quote Piccolo from the Garlic Jr. Saga, "Just because your immortal doesn't mean I can't tear out your spine." Or Lulu's geass could progress to the point where he is able to kill an immortal but then become one.

2. Gundam Wing
3. Code Geass R2

I don't know if I still like Gundam Wing, haven't seen it in 7 or 8 years. Though I'll try Marcoss Frontier.

:shock: I was so worried that they were going to stretch this into a third season, to many cliffhangers for my heart to handle. But it looks like the final confrontation has begun. And Anya, I guess she is under Lulu's mother's Geass, this explains their connection. I'm hoping for some answers.
